Jeremy Mangerchine’s work is shaped by a life lived across contrasting geographies—from the soulful textures of New Orleans to the quiet structure of the Midwest, and further enriched by travels through India. These experiences have instilled in him a deep appreciation for the patina of time—worn walls, weathered dumpsters, and the forgotten edges of urban life. These surfaces, layered with history and decay, have become his muses.

His practice seeks to bridge the raw beauty of urban deterioration with the refined sophistication of contemporary design. Jeremy explores the tension and harmony between these worlds, using layered materials, gestural brushwork, and a vibrant palette to bring texture, movement, and emotional depth to his compositions. The result is a body of work that feels at once grounded and elevated—gritty yet elegant, nostalgic yet modern.

At its core, his work is a meditation on memory, impermanence, and connection. By weaving together fragments of place, personal history, and cultural remnants, Jeremy creates a visual language that celebrates complexity and invites contemplation. His art is both a tribute to the past and a proposition for the present—a reminder that beauty often lives where we least expect it.
